We are having a seriously mild winter and global warming is in our thoughts much of the time. The Shetlands like "Kiss"(shown above eating leaves) are using their entire paddock areas which is unheard of for this time of year. We wonder what the lack of snow will mean for springtime planting and the pasture we only have for a limited time as it is here in the northwoods. Although my back and arms are enjoying the lack of shovelling I'd gladly trade some soreness for a good layer of white soon.
