BREEDING RAMS

We strive to only sell the very best of our ram lambs for breeding stock. Fortunately we have a local customer who purchases any ram lambs we feel aren't soft/fine enough or structurally correct enough or have temperament issues for butchering in the fall. Over the years we have sold a number of rams that have proven themselves to be prepotent for improving fleeces and producing good type in flocks of varied bloodlines and fleece types. Some of these rams are: Wintertime Jazz, Wintertime Fudge, Wintertime Black Forrest, Winter Sky Buster II, Wintertime Bond, Winter Sky Sandstone, and Winter Sky Khan. Future potential flock sires are shown below at 1-2 weeks of age. They will be evaluated as they grow and a few will be for sale at weaning and in the fall after being used for breeding. Annual micron tests on their parents is available. If interested in any of the below please contact us to be placed on a list. Wintertime Lexus--Moorit krunet scurred(?)ram lamb sired by Sheltrgpines Grand Luxe and out of Whistlestop 0427(Izzy).

Wintertime Esquire--Winter Sky Khan X Wintertime Vanity Fair(second place ewe lamb and second place best fleece on hoof at Jefferson in 2011)polled(?)smirslet moorit single.

Wintertime Blake--Winter Sky Khan X Wintertime Alanis(Wintertime Fudge X Winter Sky Alafair)--Twin moorit ram lamb carrying spots. Appears to be polled.

Wintertime B.o.B.--Twin black brother to Blake. Horned. No britch wool. Very fine, dense fiber throughout. Will be in a breeding pen this fall.

He is the black ram we want to use this fall. Awesome fiber already and just poses all day long out in the paddocks and fields. He'll make some pretty lambs for your farm as well.
